Comparison review
ZTE Axon 10 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, with an 80.2 score against 74.6. Even when ZTE Axon 10 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 were released only a couple of months apart, ZTE Axon 10 Pro is just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter. Both phones in this comparison review include the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so both should count with identical operating system features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and ZTE Axon 10 Pro both feature extremely similar displays, because although the ZTE Axon 10 Pro has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit larger display. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro has much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 256 GB internal memory.
ZTE Axon 10 Pro has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. ZTE Axon 10 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 have really similar batteries. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 takes just a bit better photos and videos than ZTE Axon 10 Pro, although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting photos and video in low light environments, they both have a same resolution back facing camera and the same (4K) video quality.
Although ZTE Axon 10 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy ZTE Axon 10 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, resigning a couple features and specifications.
