Comparison review
ZTE Axon 20 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, having a 77.8 score against 74.6. These devices use the same Android 10 OS, so they should count with very similar OS features. Although the ZTE Axon 20 is a little heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, it's a bit thinner and newer. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 counts with a bit more vivid screen than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater amount of pixels per inch of screen.
The ZTE Axon 20 has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the ZTE Axon 20 also has a larger amount of RAM. ZTE Axon 20 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low light captures, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with faster video frame rate, a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality photographs and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
ZTE Axon 20 features much more storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. The ZTE Axon 20 features just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because it has a 4220mAh battery size.
Although ZTE Axon 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the ZTE Axon 20, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, letting go some specifications.
