Comparison review
The Galaxy A12 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, having a overall score of 80.3 against 75.6. The Galaxy A12 body is newer, but a bit thicker and a little bit heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A12 has 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T features a sharper display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixel number per inch of screen and a much higher 1080 x 2340px resolution. The Galaxy A12 features a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A12 also has more RAM memory.
The Galaxy A12 has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that holds up to 1 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T captures much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have a 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also has a way better (4K) video resolution and a bigger aperture to capture better low-light images and videos.
