Samsung Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T's 75.6 global score. Samsung Galaxy Note9 is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, it must be noted that it is also older, just a little heavier and just a little thicker. Galaxy Note9 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note9 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T has a superior camera than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light images and video and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution and a much bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, because it has 96 GB more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note9's battery life is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T one.
