The Apple iPhone XS Max has a global score of 84.5, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 overall score. The Apple iPhone XS Max construction is just a little lighter and thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released around a year before. The Apple iPhone XS Max has a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
Apple iPhone XS Max has a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixels quantity per screen inch and a slightly higher 1242 x 2688 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than iPhone XS Max, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much better battery life than iPhone XS Max, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 3179mAh. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro captures better pictures and videos than iPhone XS Max, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light photos and video and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels and a much larger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs.
Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
