Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's design is newer than the Google Nexus 5's, although it's incredibly heavier and just a little thicker. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has 10 version and Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 version.
