Motorola Edge 50 has a general score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 score. Motorola Edge 50's body is notably newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 50 has newer 14 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10, offering a couple additional features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge 50, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Motorola Edge 50 features a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a same size screen, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a slightly higher 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution and a little higher pixels density.

Motorola Edge 50's battery performance is very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro one, although the Motorola Edge 50 has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
