Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a bit better than OnePlus 8, getting an 81.1 score against 76. Even being the best device in this review, it must be noted that it is also a heavier and somewhat thicker device. The OnePlus 8 counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a little bit higher screen density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a quite bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit better camera than OnePlus 8, because although it has worse video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not nice for taking photographs and video in low light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a bigger sensor and a way higher 64 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features improved battery duration than OnePlus 8, because it has a 17 percent greater battery capacity.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is also cheaper than the OnePlus 8.
