Samsung Galaxy Note9 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, having an 87.1 score against 81.1. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a a bit lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, but both of them have the same thickness. The Galaxy Note9 features just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. They have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a greater pixels quantity per inch of display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light images and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much larger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and pictures and a much higher 64 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy Note9 counts with a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy Note9 also has more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note9, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up some features and specs.
