Galaxy A12 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting a global score of 80.3 against 76.6. These devices use the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences in that aspect. Galaxy A12's construction has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but it's just a bit heavier.
Galaxy A12 has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy A12 also has more RAM memory.
