The Samsung Galaxy A80 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with an 84.9 score against 76.6. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy A80 is an older, just a bit thicker and just a bit heavier phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Galaxy A80 have quite similar displays, because although the Galaxy A80 has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A80 has a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy A80 also has 5 GB more RAM. The Galaxy A80 counts with a slightly bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A80, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same resolution camera in the back, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger aperture.
