Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having a 79.3 score against 76.6. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 edge+ has the older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version. Even though the Galaxy S6 edge+ is way older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's construction is extremely thinner and a lot lighter.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better pixels density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with much more storage for apps and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with more processing cores (but slower). The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a much higher 48 MP resolution back-facing camera, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in poorly lited environments and a much larger sensor capturing way higher quality photographs and videos.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a way better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 67% bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
