Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is slightly better than Huawei P20, with a overall score of 79 against 78.1. Although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is newer than the Huawei P20, it is thicker and notably heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has the older 11 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Huawei P20 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels density. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a quite bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P20, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Huawei P20 both feature really similar CPUs, they have the same RAM amount and 8 cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures better videos and photos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a way more megapixels back-facing camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a way better battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is also cheaper than the other phone.
