Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T is just a bit better than the Huawei P20, having a general score of 83 against 78.1. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's body is newer, but thicker and somewhat heavier than Huawei P20. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has older 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a little better hardware performance than Huawei P20. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores. Huawei P20 counts with just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 2244px resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel count in each inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T captures better photographs and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also has a lot better 48 mega pixels resolution back camera and a bigger sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has more memory to install applications and games than Huawei P20, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a superior battery life than Huawei P20, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3400mAh.
