Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a general score of 83, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia 5's overall score of 81. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's construction is newer, but somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than Sony Xperia 5. The Sony Xperia 5 features a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a bit greater screen density.
Xperia 5 features a bit better CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 5 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has a superior camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting photos or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also counts with a lot better 48 MP resolution back facing camera and a much larger back camera sensor which provides a lot better image and video quality.
Sony Xperia 5 has a very superior storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 5 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features a way better battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
