Comparison review
Google Nexus 6P is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, with an 80.3 score against 72.1. Google Nexus 6P's construction is just a little thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but it is somewhat heavier and was released 2 years before. Google Nexus 6P counts with a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a little bit larger display, a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and way more pixels per inch of display.
Google Nexus 6P has a little bit more memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Google Nexus 6P features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Google Nexus 6P captures much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a worse resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a bigger aperture for better photography in poorly lited situations. Google Nexus 6P features just a little bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Google Nexus 6P, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, resigning some features and specifications.
