Motorola Droid Turbo has an overall score of 76.4, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1's 72.1 global score. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Motorola Droid Turbo is an a lot older, heavier and a lot thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Motorola Droid Turbo has an older 4.4.4 version while Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
Motorola Droid Turbo has a way better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a way greater pixels quantity per inch of display. The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Droid Turbo, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB and more internal memory.
Motorola Droid Turbo has a superior hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a GPU. Motorola Droid Turbo has longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 27% bigger battery capacity. The Motorola Droid Turbo captures better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a way higher 20.7 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a bigger camera aperture to take better low light photography and video and a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
Motorola Droid Turbo is a bit more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
