Comparison review
The OnePlus 9 Pro is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, with a 76.6 score against 72.1. The OnePlus 9 Pro body is notably newer, but notably heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Y1. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but OnePlus 9 Pro has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
The OnePlus 9 Pro features a better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 9 Pro also has more RAM memory. The OnePlus 9 Pro features a way better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a bigger display, a much better 1440 x 3216 resolution and a way better screen pixel density.
OnePlus 9 Pro captures greater photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a lot better video quality, a camera in the back with lot more MP and a larger aperture for better low light photography and video. OnePlus 9 Pro features a bit bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
OnePlus 9 Pro has a really longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, because it has a 46% bigger battery size.
Although OnePlus 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Y1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the OnePlus 9 Pro, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Y1, resigning a couple specs and features.
