The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is better than ZTE Axon 20's general score of 77.8. Even being the best phone in this review, we must note that it's also a way older, thicker and a bit heavier phone. Galaxy Note9 features just a bit better looking screen than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a higher pixels density.
Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit faster processing unit than ZTE Axon 20, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. ZTE Axon 20 counts with a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a much smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photographs and a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than ZTE Axon 20, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. ZTE Axon 20 counts with a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has 4220mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 costs a bit more money than the ZTE Axon 20, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
