Comparison review
The Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is a little bit better than ZTE Axon 20's 77.8 score. Although Xperia 5 is older and a little bit thicker than ZTE Axon 20, it's construction is still somewhat lighter. The Xperia 5 has just a bit better display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a just a little greater pixels density.
Sony Xperia 5 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than ZTE Axon 20, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia 5 features a bit more powerful processing unit than ZTE Axon 20, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
ZTE Axon 20 has a way better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, faster video frame rate and a back camera with lot more mega pixels.
ZTE Axon 20 features superior battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has 4220mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the ZTE Axon 20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the ZTE Axon 20. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the ZTE Axon 20, giving up a couple specs and features.
