The ZTE Blade Spark is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 5, with a 57.4 score against 56.9. The ZTE Blade Spark body is notably newer and just a little thinner than Asus ZenFone 5's, but it's somewhat heavier. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the ZTE Blade Spark has a more recent 7.1 Nougat version while Asus ZenFone 5 has Android 4.4 version, giving you some additional features and improved performance.
The Asus ZenFone 5 has a sharper display than ZTE Blade Spark, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the Asus ZenFone 5 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen. ZTE Blade Spark features a bit better CPU than Asus ZenFone 5, because it has 1 GB more RAM and 2 more cores (although slower).
Asus ZenFone 5 counts with a slightly better camera than ZTE Blade Spark, although it has a worse (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution. ZTE Blade Spark counts with a much greater memory for games and applications than Asus ZenFone 5, because it has 8 GB more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 128 GB.
ZTE Blade Spark counts with a much better battery life than Asus ZenFone 5, because it has a 3140mAh battery capacity.
Although ZTE Blade Spark is a better device, it costs a bit more money than the Asus ZenFone 5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Asus ZenFone 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy ZTE Blade Spark, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Asus ZenFone 5, letting go some specifications.
