Galaxy S III has a global score of 70.8, which is slightly better than the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max's score of 64.8. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S III has the previous 4.1.2 version while ZTE Nubia Z9 Max has Android 5.0. Galaxy S III's design is just a little thicker but lighter than ZTE Nubia Z9 Max.
Samsung Galaxy S III features just a bit better hardware performance than ZTE Nubia Z9 Max, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with 1 more cpu cores (but slower) and an extra graphics processing unit. The ZTE Nubia Z9 Max features a bit better display than Galaxy S III, because it has a little bit larger screen, more pixels per inch of display and a way higher 1920 x 1080px resolution.
The ZTE Nubia Z9 Max features a much better camera than Galaxy S III, because it has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera, a bigger sensor providing a better image quality, a way bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos in low light situations and a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
The ZTE Nubia Z9 Max features slightly more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S III, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory, the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max also has a SD card slot that holds up to 128 GB. ZTE Nubia Z9 Max features a superior battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has a 38% bigger battery size.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy S III is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
