Comparison review
The Alcatel Insight has a global score of 58.9, which is a lot better than the ZTE Solar's 48.2 general score. Alcatel Insight is a just a bit lighter device than ZTE Solar, but both are equally thin. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Alcatel Insight has the newer 9.0 Pie version and ZTE Solar has Android 4.1 version, counting with lots of additional features and some performance improvements.
Alcatel Insight features a bit more powerful processor than ZTE Solar, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and 2 more CPU cores. The ZTE Solar features a little sharper display than Alcatel Insight, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower 854 x 480 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater display density.
The Alcatel Insight shoots way better photographs and videos than ZTE Solar. They have the same resolution back-facing camera. Alcatel Insight features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than ZTE Solar, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds up to 32 GB, the Alcatel Insight also has 12 GB more internal memory.
The Alcatel Insight counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than ZTE Solar, because it has a 2200mAh battery capacity against 2070mAh.
The Alcatel Insight is a bit more expensive than ZTE Solar, but you can get a much better phone for that extra dollars.
