The LG G7 ThinQ has an overall score of 81, which is a lot better than the ZTE ZMAX's 57.9 global score. Although the LG G7 ThinQ is just a little heavier than ZTE ZMAX, it's thinner and also notably newer. Both devices we are comparing here use Android OS, but the LG G7 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while ZTE ZMAX has Android 4.4, providing a couple nice extra features and better performance.

ZTE ZMAX features a little longer battery duration than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 13% larger battery capacity. LG G7 ThinQ takes much clearer photographs and videos than ZTE ZMAX, because it has a much better (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much better 16 megapixels resolution.
The LG G7 ThinQ costs exactly the same than the ZTE ZMAX, which makes it an easy decision.
