Moto E (2015) is just a bit better than ZTE ZMAX, having a score of 63.4 against 57.9. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but Moto E (2015) has newer 5.0 version and ZTE ZMAX has Android 4.4. Moto E (2015)'s body is just a bit lighter but much thicker than the ZTE ZMAX, and both were released with only 5 months difference.
ZTE ZMAX features a little bit better looking screen than Moto E (2015), because it has a better 1280 x 720 resolution, a little bit higher pixels number per inch of screen and a bigger display. Moto E (2015) counts with a bit faster CPU than ZTE ZMAX, because although it has a worse GPU running at 400 MHz and a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Moto E (2015) also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
The ZTE ZMAX has much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Moto E (2015), and although they both have a SD extension slot that admits up to 32 GB, the ZTE ZMAX also has 16 GB internal memory capacity. The ZTE ZMAX features a very superior battery lifetime than Moto E (2015), because it has a 3400mAh battery size.
The Moto E (2015) has a better camera than ZTE ZMAX, although it has a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a way worse 5 megapixels resolution.
The Motorola Moto E (2015) not only is the best devices of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a lot cheaper.
