Acer Liquid e Review

Acer Liquid e is a mid-end phone launched in 2010, which counts with a good processing unit running at 768 megahertz, a 5 MP back side camera and a medium sized 3.5" display.

Acer decided to build this phone with a Qualcomm MSM8250 system chip, holding a powerful CPU running at 768 megahertz with only 256 MB of RAM memory.

This cellphone doesn't feel very lightweight comparing with today standards, with a weight of 4.76 ounces.

Acer packed this phone with a good level 3.5-inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , providing this phone with a good level graphic quality. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, but it doesn't allow multi-touch gestures.

This cellphone only has a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera. It is capable of filming 640x480 VGA videos at 20 frames per second.

This device counts with a mid capacity 1350 mAh Li-Ion battery providing this cellphone with a not very long battery life. According to Acer, this phone has an estimated 5 hs talk time and a 400 hs stand by time.

This phone counts with wi-fi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a wireless router) and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone also features a handful of useful features as Bluetooth, GPS and Radio, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

This phone is very expensive considering it is priced $ 175, while some similar cellphones can be found for much less money.
