Acer Liquid Express Review

Acer Liquid Express is a mid-to-low level Android cellphone, packed with a 3.5" touch-screen, a 800 MHz CPU and a 5 megapixels back-facing camera.

Acer appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.87 oz device. Acer made the Acer Liquid Expressavailable only in black color. This phone is a little thick for current standards, with a thickness of 0.51".

Acer equipped this phone with a interesting 3.5" display, and a 480 x 320 resolution, making everything look quite vivid. This display uses LCD capacitive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

Acer decided to build the Acer Liquid Express using a great performance CPU clocking at 800 megahertz, bundled in a Qualcomm MSM7227 Turbo chip and 512 MB RAM memory. Collaborating with graphic intensive apps and games, it also counts with an ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphics processing unit running at 320 MHz.

This phone is equipped with only a 5 megapixels back side camera. This cellphone also features flash.

The Acer Liquid Express features a medium capacity 1300 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours, but you may need to charge it after some moderate use. This device has an estimated talk time of 8 hours and a stand by time of 480 hours according to Acer.

The Acer Liquid Express features WiFi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a modem or router) and fast 3G connection type, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.
