Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (5.5 inches) Review

Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (5.5 inches) is a fascinating Android phone, including a very fast Octa-Core CPU (as a matter of fact it's really a Quad-Core at 1500 megahertz and another Quad-Core ticking at 1 gigahertz), a 5.5" touch-screen, and two cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and an 8 mega-pixels front camera.

To handle graphic rendering, it also has an Adreno 405 graphic processing unit ticking at 500 MHz. A good point of this cellphone is its 16 GB quite large internal storage and an external SD slot, allowing the user to install a couple hundred apps without running out of space.

The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (5.5 inches) is equipped with a beautiful 5.5 inches display with a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, which makes everything look perfect. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone includes wifi connection (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router), HSPA+ (4G) connectivity, which is not as fast as LTE networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This device uses a Micro SIM card for GSM carriers.

This phone has two cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and an 8 MP front facing camera. The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (5.5 inches) can also film videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second. Additionally, the camera features multiple valuable characteristics like flash, fast burst mode, auto-focus, face detection shooting, HDR mode, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This cellphone also includes a couple of nice characteristics like NFC, Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone comes with a great 2910 mAh battery providing this phone a great battery duration.

The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (5.5 inches) is not a very good choice considering it is priced $ 200, while many similar phones are a lot cheaper than that. This device is definitely the correct choice for you if you want it mainly for social networks, you love taking photos, want a cellphone for work or want a cellphone to play games.
