ARCHOS 50 Helium Plus is a not so powerful Android phone released in July 2015, counting with a fast 1 GHz Quad-Core processing unit, a quite big 5 inches display, and 2 cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 5 MP front camera.
Archos decided to design this device using a great performance Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1000 MHz, bundled in a MediaTek MT6735P system chip and 1 GB of RAM memory. A nice point of this phone is its 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, enough to store hundreds of applications without any trouble.
This time, it seems like Archos forgot about weight optimization in this 5.68 oz cellphone. Archos is offering this phone in color 16 777 216. Even though this device is only 5.63 inches long and 2.8" wide, it is able to fit a a 5 inches screen. The ARCHOS 50 Helium Plus is just 0.37 inches thick, making its way into the thinnest devices podium.
The ARCHOS 50 Helium Plus features two cameras, a 13 megapixels back facing camera and a 5 MP front side camera. It is capable of capturing videos in HD 1280x720.
The ARCHOS 50 Helium Plus is equipped with a nice 5 inches screen with a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution, giving this phone a good level graphical experience.
The ARCHOS 50 Helium Plus offers wifi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high performance internet connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, a lower speed 4G type and 3G fast internet connection, using HSDPA and HSUPA technologies. This phone has dual SIM cards so it can to work with two different phone lines or carriers in the same phone.
This cellphone also comes with a few interesting features like Bluetooth (Yes ), GPS Navigation and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This cellphone comes with a 2000 mAh medium sized Li - Ion removable battery, which is quite poor for a consuming phone like this.
