Asus PadFone Infinity 2 Review

Asus PadFone Infinity 2 is a great phone released in September 2013, having an extremely fast Quad-Core processor running at 2.2 GHz, a good size 5-inches display, a 13 MP back facing camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera. But it's time to get into a bit more detail.

The Asus PadFone Infinity 2 comes with a very fast Quad-Core CPU speeding at 2200 MHz, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8974-AA system chip and a huge 2 GB RAM. To handle graphic intensive applications, it also has an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit clocking at 450 MHz. A nice feature of the Asus PadFone Infinity 2 is its 16 GB quite large internal memory and an SD card slot, which allows you to install a couple hundred applications without any trouble.

The Asus PadFone Infinity 2 has an inspired design, with a thickness of just 0.35". While this device is just 5.65" long, it still manages to pack a 5 inches screen. The Asus PadFone Infinity 2 is much lighter than what you would expect from a cellphone like this. Asus offers this device in 2 color options: black and white.

The Asus PadFone Infinity 2 includes a spectacular 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 5-inches screen, which makes all images and videos look amazing. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone provides Wi-Fi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem), LTE (4G) fast connection type and also HSPA+ internet connection, a bit slower 4G technology and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Asus PadFone Infinity 2 uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 13 megapixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera. This cellphone also captures videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. This camera also has a few nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting and fast burst mode.

This cellphone features a high capacity 2400 mAh non-replaceable battery that can keep this cellphone running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery is non-removable so you can't change it when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, although with its 2400 mAh you will probably discard this cellphone before that becomes an issue.

This phone also comes with a couple of interesting features like Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (4.0, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

Asus is selling this phone for $ 149, which is quite high for a phone this level. This cellphone is probably the correct option if you will use it mostly for social networks, will use this phone for work, are a photography fan or need a cellphone for playing games.
