Asus PadFone X is an impressive Android phone launched in 2014, packed with a good size 5-inches multi touch display, an exceptional 2300 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit, and two cameras, a 13 MP back side camera and a 2 megapixels front facing camera. But let's get into a bit more details.
Asus decided to build this device using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 system chip, holding a high-tech Quad-Core processor speeding at 2300 megahertz and a great 2 GB RAM memory. A nice point of this phone is its quite large 16 GB internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing the user to install hundreds of apps and games without running out of space.
Asus made a very nice design job making this device weight just 5.29 ounces. This phone is incredibly thin and practical, being just 0.39 inches thick. Whereas this phone is only 5.67 inches long and 2.85" wide, it still manages to hold a 5" screen. Asus made the Asus PadFone Xavailable just in three different colors, gray, pink and gold.
The Asus PadFone X features two cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back side camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. The Asus PadFone X also films videos in 3840x2160 (4K). To complete the camera, it also features a few nice features like flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus, HDR mode and smile detection shooting.
Asus packed the Asus PadFone X with an absolutely amazing 5 inches screen, and a 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) resolution, making everything look brightful and colorful. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This phone includes WiFi capability (and it can provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high speed connection and also HSPA+ connection type, a lower speed 4G type and fast 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Asus PadFone X works with a Nano SIM card for GSM connection.
This phone packs a 2300 mAh amazing removable battery, which isn't very promising for a phone like this. According to Asus, the Asus PadFone X has an aproximate talk time of 30 hs and a stand by time of 417 hs.
This cellphone also features a few useful characteristics as NFC, Bluetooth (for communication with other devices and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
Asus is offering this device for 550 dollars, which is not cheap for a cellphone this level. If you want it to take tons of pictures, are looking for a work device, will use it as a social device or will use it for playing games, you will definitely love this cellphone.
