BlackBerry Curve 9350 Review

(9350) Score: 46.2 / 100

BlackBerry Curve 9350 is a mid-to-low level BlackBerry cellphone launched back in the year 2011, counting with a 5 MP back facing camera, a good processor speeding at 800 megahertz and a little 2.4-inches screen. But it's time to get into a bit more details.

Whereas this cellphone is as big as 4.29" long and 2.36 inches wide, it only holds a way smaller 2.4 inches screen. Although the BlackBerry Curve 9350 is very thin it's not as slim as many other cellphones in the market, with a thickness of 0.43". Blackberry did a very nice design job making this phone weight just 3.49 ounces.

Blackberry decided to power this cellphone using a quite powerful 800 megahertz CPU with 512 MB of RAM. This device has a poor 524,29 MB internal storage memory, which may be enough for basic users considering that it also has an external memory slot to store photographs and videos.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 5 mega-pixels back side camera. It can also shoot VGA 640x480 videos at 30 frames per second. In addition, this cellphone's camera also features a couple of interesting characteristics: digital image stabilization, flash, geo tagging and face detection shooting.

Blackberry equipped this phone with a very good 2.4-inches screen, and a 360 x 480 resolution, making everything look great.

This cellphone includes WiFi connection (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a modem or router) and 3G connectivity, using EV-DO A technologies. This phone doesn't use a SIM card, because it is not a GSM enabled device and it works in CDMA networks.

The BlackBerry Curve 9350 also comes with some nice features such as NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and Light Sensor.

This cellphone has a 1000 mAh small Li-Ion removable battery providing this phone with a poor battery duration. This cellphone has a reported stand by time of 348 hours and a talk time of 5.5 hours according to Blackberry.

The BlackBerry Curve 9350 is not very convinient considering it is sold for 240 dollars, and many similar phones are a lot cheaper than that.
