BLU Studio 5.0 K is a decently made phone, equipped with a 3.2 megapixels back side camera, a good size 5-inches touch-screen and an extremely powerful 1300 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit.
This cellphone is a bit heavy comparing with today standards, with a weight of 6.24 ounces. This phone's thickness , 0.4", is a little bit far from today's standards, but it still feels comfortable in the user's hand. The BLU Studio 5.0 K just has 5.75" long, but it still manages to hold a 5" screen. BLU sells this phone in a nice range of colors like black, pink, orange, yellow, blue and white.
This phone ships with a MediaTek MT6582M chip, backed up by an extremely powerful 1300 MHz Dual-Core processor and only 512 MB RAM which is a little poor for such a solid device. Graphic intensive apps and games generally consume a lot of CPU cycles, so this cellphone also has a 416 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processing unit to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. The BLU Studio 5.0 K has a 4 GB internal memory, a medium amount that should be fine for the majority of users considering that this phone also has a slot for an SD memory card to store photos and videos and even some apps and games that can be installed in the external memory.
This cellphone is only equipped with a 3.2 mega-pixels back side camera. It is capable of shooting videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second. This cellphone also includes flash and geo tagging.
The BLU Studio 5.0 K includes an average 5" display with a 854 x 480 resolution, providing this phone with a nice graphic quality. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This cellphone counts with wi-fi capability (and it can be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and 3G data connection, supported by EDGE technologies. This phone uses 2 SIM cards to be able to to use 2 different phone numbers or carriers in the same phone.
This phone also features a few cool features like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The BLU Studio 5.0 K is not a good choice considering it is offerred for $ 249, and other similar devices cost much less than that.
