BLU Studio G is a decent quality Android device, including an extremely fast 1300 MHz Quad-Core processing unit, a comfortable 5-inches touch-screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera.
This phone is extremely thin and practical, being just 0.39" thick. Although this phone just has 5.63" long and 2.88" wide, it is able to fit a a 5 inches display. BLU made a very nice design job making this device weight only 5.5 ounces. The BLU Studio G is offerred in a wide range of colors, black, pink, blue, white and gold.
The BLU Studio G ships with an extremely fast Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1.3 GHz with only 512 MB of RAM which is a little disappointing for a device of this level. Graphic rendering generally eats lots of CPU processing time, so this phone also has an extra 500 MHz ARM Mali-400 graphics processing unit to help handle those graphic tasks. The BLU Studio G has an average 4 GB internal storage memory, which is quite good knowing that it also has a slot for external memory cards to store photographs and videos.
The BLU Studio G has two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. The BLU Studio G can also shoot HD 1280x720 videos at 30 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also features some good features like flash, geo tagging and auto-focus.
BLU equipped the BLU Studio G with a interesting 5 inches display, and a 854 x 480 resolution, giving this cellphone a good image quality. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
This cellphone features wi-fi capability (which it can share with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot). The BLU Studio G doesn't have a sim card, because it isn't a GSM device.
This phone packs a 2000 mAh medium capacity Li-Ion removable battery providing the BLU Studio G with a below average battery life. BLU says this phone has a 900 hs stand by time and a 24 hours talk time.
This cellphone also comes with a couple of interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Localization, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
The BLU Studio G is not a very good choice considering it is sold for 75 dollars, and some similar phones cost a lot less than that.
