HTC One VX Review

HTC One VX is an interesting cellphone released in 2012, packed with a 4.5-inches multi touch capacitive display, a very powerful Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front facing camera. But let's get into a bit more details.

This phone comes with a great Dual-Core processor speeding at 1200 megahertz, bundled in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8930 system chip with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit low comparing with its awesome processor. To help with graphic calculations, the HTC One VX also uses a 450 MHz Adreno 305 GPU. The HTC One VX counts with an 8 GB interesting internal storage and an SD extension slot, allowing you to install a couple hundred applications and games without any trouble.

HTC is offering this phone in 3 different colors, black, gray and white. HTC made an excellent design job making this phone weight just 4.4 ounces. This device is just 0.36" thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones you can find.

This phone features two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. It is also able to shoot videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). Additionally, this phone's camera also features a lot of amazing characteristics: flash, auto-focus, fast burst mode, HDR mode, digital image stabilization and geo tagging.

The HTC One VX has a nice 4.5" screen with a 960 x 540 resolution, providing this phone with a very good graphic quality. This screen uses S-LCD 2 capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This cellphone packs a medium capacity 1800 mAh Li-Polymer replaceable battery that provides this device a not very long battery life comparing with other similar cellphones. This phone has a reported 9 hours talk time and a 276 hs stand by time according to HTC.

The HTC One VX includes wi-fi connection (and it can share it with other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high performance data connection and also HSPA+ data connection, a lower speed 4G network and the fastest 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.

This phone also includes a handful of useful features like NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (enables communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone might not be a good choice considering it costs 100 dollars, while many similar devices can be found for less money. The HTC One VX is definitely the correct option if you need a work cellphone, want a phone for playing games or want a social cellphone.
