Kyocera Hydro Wave Review

Kyocera Hydro Wave is a decent Android cellphone launched in 2015, packing a pretty large 5" display, a fast 1200 megahertz Quad-Core processor, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 2 MP front camera.

This phone feels much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone this size. Kyocera onlymade the Kyocera Hydro Wave in black color. This phone's thickness (0.42") is a little bit far from current standards, but it still feels comfortable in the hand. Whereas the Kyocera Hydro Wave is just 5.66 inches long, it still manages to hold a 5 inches display.

This cellphone is equipped with a very good 5" screen with a 540 x 960 resolution, which makes everything look beautiful.

This cellphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 8916 system chip, packing a powerful Quad-Core processor ticking at 1.2 gigahertz with 1 GB of RAM memory. This cellphone has a quite large 8 GB internal storage memory and an external memory slot, which allows you to install hundreds of apps without running out of space.

This device includes WiFi connectivity (but it can't provide it to other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot), 4G LTE fast data connection and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSPA and HSUPA technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM enabled phone.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. This phone can also film 1280x720 HD videos at 30 fps.

This cellphone also includes a couple of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (provides communication with other phones and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Kyocera Hydro Wave counts with a 2300 mAh big Li - Ion non-replaceable battery, which isn't very promising for a cellphone like this. An issue to take into account is that this cellphone's battery is non-removable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to lose its charge, while with so much capacity you will probably replace this phone before it becomes a real problem.
