This device is a little thick for nowadays standards, being as thick as 0.66". Whereas this cellphone is as big as 4.72" long and 2.43" wide, it only contains a much smaller 3.5 inches screen. Apparently LG didn't care about the weight at all, releasing it with a 6 ounces weight.
This cellphone is equipped with a nice 3.5-inches display with a 800 x 480 resolution, which makes everything look very nice.
LG decided to sell this phone with a fast 1 gigahertz processor, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon system chip. This device counts with a 440,32 MB internal storage, which might be enough for basic users having that it also has an SD extension slot to store songs, photos and videos and even some apps and games that can be installed in the external memory.
The LG Genesis only features a 5 megapixels back side camera. This camera also has flash.
This cellphone features wifi connectivity (and it can be shared with other devices as a mobile hotspot) and 3G internet connection, using EV-DO A technologies. The LG Genesis doesn't have a sim card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections and it can work with CDMA networks.
This phone also includes a handful of interesting features like Bluetooth (enables communication with other bluetooth phones, computers and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
The LG Genesis uses a 1500 mAh medium sized Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will probably need to charge it after some moderate to heavy usage. This device has an aproximate stand by time of 420 hs and a talk time of 2.5 hs according to LG.
LG is selling this cellphone for 199 dollars, which is a really high price for this kind of cellphone.
