LG Lucid 3 is a good quality phone released in April 2014, counting with a medium 4.7" screen, an extremely powerful Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1.2 gigahertz, and 2 cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera.
LG decided to build this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 8926 system chip, packing an extremely fast Quad-Core CPU running at 1200 MHz with only 1 GB RAM memory which is a little bit poor for a phone this good. Graphic rendering generally eats lots of processing power, so it also has an extra 450 MHz Adreno 305 GPU to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. A nice point of this phone is its 8 GB quite large internal storage and an external memory slot, enough to store hundreds of apps and games without any problem.
This cellphone is a compact phone, given that it presents a 4.7" screen and it only has 5.18 inches long. The LG Lucid 3 is incredibly slim and practical, with a thickness of just 0.39". LG has made a very good job making this cellphone as lightweight as 4.37 oz.
This phone features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front camera. It is also able to shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 fps. In addition, the camera includes a lot of interesting features: auto-focus, flash, fast burst mode, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting, HDR mode and geo tagging.
LG designed this device with a interesting 4.7-inches screen, and a 960 x 540 resolution, which makes everything look great. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
This phone uses a great 2440 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours without having to charge it at all. LG claims this cellphone has a 12.5 hours talk time and a 360 hs stand by time.
The LG Lucid 3 includes wi-fi connectivity (and it can provide it to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router), LTE (4G) high speed connection type and 3G data connection, supported by EV-DO A technologies. This cellphone doesn't use a sim card, because it's not a GSM enabled cellphone and it can connect to CDMA networks.
This cellphone also comes with a wide range of interesting characteristics such as Wireless charging, NFC, Bluetooth (4.0, EDR) and GPS, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
LG is offering the LG Lucid 3 for 105 dollars, which is not very cheap for comparing with other similar cellphones. This phone is probably the right one for you no matter if you will use it mainly for social networks, are looking for a cellphone for work or want a gaming phone.
