LG Optimus Chat Review

LG Optimus Chat is a modest phone, including a 2.8 inches touch-screen, a fast processing unit ticking at 0 MHz and a 3 MP back side camera.

LG decided to power this phone using a good processor speeding at 0 megahertz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227 chip. To handle graphic calculations, it also uses a 128 MHz Adreno 200 graphic processing unit. This phone comes with a mediocre 143,36 MB internal storage memory, which may be enough for basic users considering it also has a slot for SD memory cards to store photographs and videos.

LG forgot about weight optimization in this 4.73 oz device, way heavier than other similar cellphones. This phone isn't really a compact phone, considering it is 4.29 inches long and 2.32 inches wide,but it just holds a 2.8" screen. This phone is quite thick for today's standards, with its 0.64" thickness.

The LG Optimus Chat is equipped with a very good 480 x 320 2.8 inches screen, which makes all images and videos look beautiful.

This cellphone features wifi capability (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a modem or router) and 3G fast connection type, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The LG Optimus Chat uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

The LG Optimus Chat is equipped with only a 3 mega-pixels back camera. The LG Optimus Chat also captures videos in 640x480 (VGA) at 24 fps. Additionally, the camera counts with auto-focus and geo tagging.

This phone comes with a good 1500 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which is quite poor for a phone like this. LG informs a 5 hs talk time and a 440 hours stand by time for this device.
