LG Optimus Chat Review

LG Optimus Chat is an outdated Android cellphone, including a good megahertz processing unit, a 3 mega-pixels back camera and a 2.8 inches capacitive display. We will get a better understanding of this cellphone's advantages when we get into specific details.

This cellphone is quite heavy for a phone this size, with a weight of 4.73 oz. This cellphone is a little thick for nowadays standards, with its 0.64 inches thickness. This cellphone is 4.29" long and 2.32" wide, but it is only able to pack a way smaller 2.8 inches screen.

This phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227 system chip, packing a good processor ticking at MHz. Graphic calculations usually consume lots of processing power, so the LG Optimus Chat has an additional Adreno 200 graphic processing unit working at 128 MHz to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. This phone counts with a poor 143,36 MB internal storage memory, which could be adequate for basic users considering it also has a slot for an external memory card to store pictures and videos and even some applications that can be installed in the external memory.

This cellphone is equipped with only a 3 megapixels back-facing camera. It is also able to film 640x480 VGA videos at 24 frames per second. To complete the camera, it also counts with geo tagging and auto-focus.

LG designed this phone with a good level 2.8-inches screen, and a resolution of 480 x 320 , making everything look very good.

This phone packs a 1280 mAh mid capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a consuming phone like this. LG reports a 3.6 hs talk time and a 320 hours stand by time for this phone.

This cellphone provides WiFi connectivity (but it can't share it with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card for GSM networks.
