LG Optimus Hub is a mid-to-low level phone released back in 2011, which counts with a quite powerful 800 megahertz processing unit, a 3.5" multi touch display and a 5 MP back facing camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's only the starting point of this extreme review.
This phone is quite thin and practical, although it's not as slim as many other cellphones nowadays, with a thickness of 0.45". LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.37 ounces cellphone.
This cellphone is equipped with a quite powerful 800 MHz processing unit, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7227T system chip. Handling graphic calculations, this cellphone also has a 128 MHz Adreno 200 GPU. This phone comes with a small 153,6 MB internal memory, which could be enough for some users having that this cellphone also has an SD memory card expansion slot to store songs, pictures and videos and even some applications that allow external memory installation.
LG designed this cellphone with a interesting 3.5-inches display, and a 480 x 320 resolution, which makes everything look nice. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
The LG Optimus Hub only features a 5 megapixels back facing camera. It also shoots videos in 640x480 (VGA) at 18 frames per second. The camera also features auto-focus.
The LG Optimus Hub has a good 1500 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that provides the LG Optimus Hub a poor battery durationcompared to other phones. According to LG, this cellphone has a reported stand by time of 592 hours and a talk time of 5.6 hours.
This cellphone offers wifi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a modem) and fast 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.
The LG Optimus Hub also features a couple interesting features such as Bluetooth (3.0), GPS Navigation and Radio, and a few sensors likeProximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
LG is selling the LG Optimus Hub for 199 dollars, which is a really high price for a device this level.
