LG Renoir is a low end cellphone launched back in 2008, featuring a little 3 inches touch-screen and an 8 MP back side camera.
LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.02 oz phone. This phone is a little bit thick compared to nowadays cellphones, being as thick as 0.55". While this phone has 4.24 inches long, it only comes with a smaller 3 inches display.
The LG Renoir counts with a 122,88 MB internal storage memory, a low amount that may be enough for some basic users considering it also has an SD card slot to store pictures and videos.
This phone only features an 8 mega-pixels back side camera. It is also able to shoot videos in 640x480 (VGA) at 30 fps. Additionally, the camera includes flash.
This phone has a nice 3 inches display with a 400 x 240 resolution, which makes everything look nice. This display uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.
The LG Renoir packs a 1000 mAh low capacity Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is quite poor for a thirsty cellphone like this. LG reports a 300 hours stand by time and a 3.7 hs talk time for this cellphone.
This cellphone features WiFi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices acting as a router) and fast 3G data connection, using HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The LG Renoir works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
This cellphone also includes some interesting characteristics like Bluetooth (2.0, EDR), GPS and Radio, and Accelerometer.
LG is offering this device for 75 dollars, which is a high price for comparing with other similar cellphones.
