Micromax Canvas Duet is a decent Android cellphone, packed with a great 1200 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a medium sized 4.5" screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front camera.
This phone is only 0 inches long, but it still manages to hold a 4.5 inches display. Micromax is offering this cellphone in black color.
The Micromax Canvas Duet includes a nice 4.5-inches screen with a 960 x 540 resolution, providing this phone with a good level graphic quality. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.
Micromax decided to build this phone using a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8625Q system chip, packing a very fast Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1200 megahertz and only 1 GB RAM which is a bit low for a device this good. Graphic rendering usually uses a lot of CPU time, so this phone also counts with a 245 megahertz Adreno 203 graphic processing unit to help the processor with those tasks.
The Micromax Canvas Duet provides Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router) and 3G data connection, over EV-DO A and EDGE technologies. This phone has two SIM cards so it can to work with two different phone numbers or carriers at the same time and it works with both CDMA and GSM carriers.
The Micromax Canvas Duet is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. It is capable of capturing videos in HD 1280x720 at 30 fps. The camera also features auto-focus and flash.
