Motorola i856 is a low-end device released in September 2009, counting with a small sized 2.2" screen and a 1.3 MP back side camera. That's all? Not at all, it's only the beginning of a much deeper review.

Motorola appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 2.99 oz device. This cellphone is 4.19 inches long and 1.97 inches wide, it just holds a smaller 2.2 inches display. This phone is a bit thick for today's standards, with a thickness of 0.59 inches.

Motorola equipped the Motorola i856 with a low quality 2.2-inches screen, and a 220 x 176 resolution, giving this cellphone a low resolution image quality.

This phone doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't support GSM networks.

This cellphone has only a 1.3 megapixels back side camera. It can also capture videos in 352x288.

The Motorola i856 has a 1100 mAh low capacity Li-Ion removable battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will need to charge it even after moderate usage. This phone has a reported stand by time of 95 hours and a talk time of 3.5 hours.

This phone is priced $ 160, a really high price for this kind of phone.
