Nokia Lumia 1320 Review

Nokia Lumia 1320 is a good Windows Phone 8 cellphone released back in the year 2013, packed with a really big 6 inches display, a high speed Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1700 megahertz, and two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. Is that all? No, it's only the introduction.

Nokia ships this phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip, holding a high speed 1700 MHz Dual-Core CPU and only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit low for a cellphone this powerful. To handle graphic calculations, it also has an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit working at 450 megahertz. The Lumia 1320 counts with aquite big 8 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot, enough to store a couple hundred applications and games without worrying about space.

Apparently Nokia didn't care so much about the weight in this 7.76 ounces cellphone. The Lumia 1320 is sold in a variety of color variations, black, orange, yellow and white. This phone is thin and good-looking, with a thickness of just 0.39". This phone is a very compact cellphone, taking into consideration it has a 6" screen and it is only 6.46 inches long and 3.38 inches wide.

This phone features two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. This phone can also capture videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. Additionally, this cellphone's camera also has some nice characteristics like flash, face detection shooting, auto-focus and geo tagging.

The Lumia 1320 is equipped with a good level 1280 x 720 (HD) 6-inches screen, giving this cellphone a nice graphic quality. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This cellphone includes wifi connectivity (and it can be provided to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem), LTE 4G high performance data connection and also HSPA+ data connection, that is a lower speed 4G technology and fast 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a Micro SIM card for GSM services.

This cellphone comes with a 3400 mAh long lasting non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it. This phone has an aproximate 25 hs talk time and a 672 hours stand by time according to Nokia. An issue to consider is that this cellphone's battery is not replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to last shorter, although with this big battery you will probably buy a new phone before that happens.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 also includes a handful of interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is very overpriced considering it is offerred for 230 dollars, while many similar cellphones are offerred way cheaper than that.
