Nokia Lumia 710 is a decent quality Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Array UI cellphone launched in October 2011, including a 3.7" display, a 5 megapixels back camera and a fast 1.4 gigahertz processing unit. That's everything we have to say? No, it's just the starting point of a detailed review.
Nokia decided to power this phone using a great performance 1400 megahertz processing unit, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 MSM8255 system chip and 512 MB RAM. Graphic rendering often consume a lot of processor time, so this phone has an additional 245 MHz Adreno 205 graphics processing unit to help handle those graphic tasks. A nice point of this cellphone is the 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and though it doesn't include an external SD slot, it is enough to store a couple hundred applications, although it probably wouldn't be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games currently available or taking tons of pictures and videos.
Nokia didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 4.43 oz cellphone. Nokia sells this cellphone in 2 colors, black and white.
The Lumia 710 is equipped with only a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera. It can also capture 1280x720 HD videos at 30 fps. This camera also features some interesting characteristics like auto-focus, flash, face detection shooting and digital image stabilization.
This cellphone includes a good level 800 x 480 3.7-inches screen, providing this phone with a very good graphic quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
The Lumia 710 comes with a mid sized 1300 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that provides the Lumia 710 a not very long battery duration. This cellphone has an estimated 6.9 hours talk time and a 400 hours stand by time according to Nokia.
The Lumia 710 counts with WiFi connectivity (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a wireless modem) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card to use GSM services.
This cellphone also features a couple useful features as Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This phone is very overpriced considering it costs 109 dollars, while many similar devices are sold for much less than that.
