Palm Pixi Plus GSM Review

Palm Pixi Plus GSM is a quite basic webOS phone, provisioned with a 2.6-inches multi-touch screen and a 2 mega-pixels back side camera. Let's take a closer view of what this cellphone offers to us.

This phone is much lighter than what you expect from a cellphone like this. This device's thickness , 0.43", is a little bit far from current standards, but it still feels right in the user's hand. This cellphone isn't a very compact phone, taking into account that it is 4.37 inches long,but it only packs a 2.6 inches display.

Helping with graphic calculations, the Palm Pixi Plus GSM also counts with an ARM Mali-400 MP1 GPU speeding at 320 MHz. A nice point of this phone is its 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and though it doesn't count with a slot for an SD memory card, it should be enough to install hundreds of applications, although it may not be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games available nowadays.

This phone is equipped with only a 2 mega-pixels back side camera. To complete the camera, it also has flash.

This phone includes an average 400 x 320 2.6-inches screen, which makes all photos and videos look quite nice. Its screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This phone has wifi connection (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot) and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone works with a SIM card for GSM services.

This cellphone also comes with a handful of cool features as Bluetooth (for communication with other phones, computers and accessories) and GPS, and a few sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.

The Palm Pixi Plus GSM is not a very good choice considering it costs 199 dollars, while other similar phones can be found for much less money.
