Samsung Galaxy S4 mini Review

Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is a high quality device released in May 2013, which features a high-tech Dual-Core processor running at 1.7 gigahertz, a 4.3-inches capacitive screen, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.9 MP front side camera. That's all? Not at all, it's only the introduction.

Samsung made the S4 miniavailable only in two colors: black and white. Samsung has made a really good job making this phone weight just 3.77 oz. This phone is extremely thin and practical, being just 0.35" thick. The S4 mini is quite a compact cellphone, taking into account that it has a 4.3" screen and it's just 4.91" long and 2.41 inches wide.

This phone includes a nice 4.3-inches display with a 960 x 540 resolution, making everything look very good. This display uses Super AMOLED capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

Samsung decided to power this cellphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8930 system chip, holding an exceptional Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1.7 gigahertz with a huge 1,5 GB of RAM memory. Graphic calculations usually uses lots of processor cycles, so it has an extra Adreno 305 graphics processing unit clocking at 450 MHz to unload the processor. The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini comes with anice 8 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card, allowing you to install hundreds of applications without any problem.

This phone includes WiFi connection (but it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot), LTE 4G great performance data connection and also HSPA+ connection type, which is a slower 4G network and fast 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a Micro SIM card to connect to GSM networks and it can work with both CDMA and GSM carriers.

The S4 mini has two cameras, an 8 MP back camera and a 1.9 MP front side camera. It is also able to capture Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second. Additionally, this phone's camera also counts with a couple of useful features: flash, auto-focus, HDR mode, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This cellphone also includes some nice characteristics such as Infrared Port, Bluetooth (4.0, EDR) and GPS Geolocation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This phone comes with a 1900 mAh medium Li-Ion battery that can keep this cellphone running for some hours, although you will probably need to charge it even after moderate use. Samsung afirms this cellphone has a stand by time of 250 hours and a talk time of 12 hours.

This phone is really overpriced considering it costs 335 dollars, and other similar cellphones are being sold much cheaper than that. It doesn't matter whether you are looking for a cellphone for work, want a social phone, are a photography fan or are looking for a gamer cellphone, you will probably be very pleased with this device.
