Samsung Infuse 4G Review

Samsung Infuse 4G is a mid-end cellphone released many years ago, equipped with a fast 1200 MHz processor, a 4.5-inches capacitive touch-screen, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera. But it's time to get into much more details.

Samsung decided to power this cellphone using a Samsung Exynos 3 system chip, packing a powerful processing unit ticking at 1200 MHz and 512 MB of RAM. To collaborate with graphic rendering, this cellphone also counts with a PowerVR SGX540 GPU running at 200 megahertz. This phone has a 16 GB interesting internal storage memory and an SD extension slot, enough to install a couple hundred games and applications without any trouble.

This cellphone is much lighter than what one would think about a phone like this. The Samsung Infuse 4G is just 0.35 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest phones on sale.

This phone has two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It can also capture 1280x720 HD videos at 30 fps. This camera also has a couple of nice features: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting and fast burst mode.

The Samsung Infuse 4G has a very good 4.5" screen with a 800 x 480 resolution, providing this cellphone with a good level graphic quality. This screen uses Super AMOLED Plus capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

The Samsung Infuse 4G counts with a good 1750 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that can keep it running for many hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily. According to Samsung, this phone has an estimated stand by time of 400 hours and a talk time of 8 hours.

The Samsung Infuse 4G offers WiFi connection (and it can share it with other devices acting as a router), HSPA+ (4G) data connection, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and fast 3G data connection, supported by HSDPA, HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Samsung Infuse 4G uses a SIM card for GSM services.

This phone also comes with a handful of cool characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Samsung Infuse 4G costs $ 125, somewhat expensive for comparing with other similar cellphones. No matter if you will use it as a social device or need a device for playing games, this cellphone is probably very appropiate .
