Sonim XP2 Spirit Review

Sonim XP2 Spirit is a modest phone, including a small sized 2" display and a 3 MP back side camera.

This cellphone is a little bit thick for current standards, being as thick as 0.85". Whereas this cellphone has 5.15 inches long, it only comes with a smaller 2" display. Sonim didn't put much effort to reduce weight in this 6.35 oz cellphone, far heavier than other similar phones.

This cellphone counts with a 40,96 MB internal storage memory, a poor amount that could be enough for some basic users knowing that this cellphone also has a slot for an external memory card to store songs, photos and videos and even some games and apps that allow external memory installation.

This cellphone only features a 3 mega-pixels back-facing camera. It is capable of shooting videos in 220x176 . This camera also features flash.

Sonim packed the Sonim XP2 Spirit with an average 2 inches screen, and a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA), which makes everything look quite good.

The Sonim XP2 Spirit offers 3G fast connection type, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM networks.

This phone packs a 1300 mAh medium sized Li-Ion replaceable battery, which is not really enough for a demanding phone like this. According to Sonim, this phone has a reported talk time of 8 hours and a stand by time of 428 hours.

This phone also includes a few cool features such as Bluetooth (1.2) and FM Radio, and Light Sensor.

This cellphone costs about $ 839, which is not a good offer for this kind of cellphone. When buying the Sonim XP2 Spirit you also get Screwdriver, Electrical wall charger, Belt clip, USB cable and Wired headset.
